After years of trying to become something I’m not, I am embracing my unexpected awkwardness as a mom. I look forward to sharing my experiences, thoughts, rants, ramblings, etc. on anything and everything – life, kids, parenting, marriage, cooking, health – you get the picture.
I clearly suck at making friends in real life, so I hope to connect with other moms who want to talk openly about parenting – the good, the bad and the awkward. Moms who can admit that they have a messy house, or let the kids have ice cream for breakfast the other day.
It’s exhausting and ridiculous to pretend you have it all together, all the time. No one does. I want this blog to resonate with you and inspire you to love yourself and your family exactly as you are – not as you want others to see you. Let’s let go of all the judgy and fake. Cool? Cool. 🙂
I would love to hear your stories! It’s always good to know we are all in this motherhood thing together. It’s liberating to share the stuff we usually keep to ourselves, for fear of being judged by the mythical Super Mommy. This blog is 100% judge-free, and I’m definitely not Super Mommy. 🙂
If you are enjoying the blog so far, please share with your friends! Your support is appreciated! Plus, the more the merrier, right?! </u
